Hi, I'm Katie!

My artistic journey began in childhood, inspired by my dad's creations and paintings. He has the remarkable ability to create anything he envisions. Both of my grandfathers were also exceptional artists; one sketched aircraft blueprints in the military that were indistinguishable from actual prints, while the other was a master woodworker, aptly nicknamed "Buzz." I guess you could say it runs in my veins.

At this time, my life is deeply enriched by my faith, my loving husband, and our two wonderful children. They are my greatest supporters and the source of my strength and joy. I get an extreme amount of joy just thinking about them seeing me live out my dream. This year, I've decided that despite the prevalence of 'starving artists' and the anticipated difficulties, I won't let the challenges deter me from doing what I love. If it feels hard chasing your passions, you're likely right where God wants you to be and right where the devil wishes you weren't.

Some other things - Along with being a wife, mama, and artist, I work 8-5 in Mortgage. When I do have free time (haha I laugh because if I don't I'll cry), I love to spend my time drawing and painting, spending quality time with my closest friends, trying new coffees, reading, and listening to podcasts.
